Talbert and Peter organised
the last walk of the year in pleasant rolling countryside.
Thirteen members took part and although it was easy walking for
the most part, it was quite muddy in places and a farmer didn't
help by choosing that morning to plough his field (and the footpath).
We were a little late starting due to traffic problems and fortunately
the rain held off until we were in sight of Billesdon again. It
was about 6.5 miles long; and there were, according to Talbert,
"a few stiles but no high ones" (-some were doubles of
Olympic standard!)
