This walk was researched by Talbert and Peter and was a 5½ mile walk around Barrow on Soar in Leicestershire. No hills on the walk but it had some interesting features.

We will meet at the Hunting Lodge in Barrow on Soar at 10am for a 10:30 start.

How to get there: Barrow upon Soar is south east of Loughborough just off the A6.

• From the north: Turn left off the A6 at the sign for Barrow. Right at roundabout onto Barrow Road. Right at next roundabout, second exit, onto South Street and the Hunting Lodge is on the right after 300 yards.
• From the south: Turn off the A6 at the Barrow sign, sharp first left at the roundabout onto Barrow Road. Straight over the first roundabout and right at the next one, second exit, onto South Street and the Hunting Lodge is on the right after 300 yards.
