Swarkestone & Trent valley 27th October 2021

Gentlemen, our next walk will be around Swarkestone and the Trent Valley.  (Unfortunately a walk around Chatsworth Park will have to wait for next year .... no room at the Inn as it’s half term in our area).

Details of the walk are as follows:

START POINT: The Crewe and Harpur pub near Swarkestone Derbyshire DE73 7JA

TIME: 10.00am assemble for tea/coffee at The Crewe and Harpur

DIRECTIONS TO THE CREWE AND HARPUR PUB: The pub is located in Swarkestone village, near to the famous Swarkestone bridge over the River Trent on the A514, just south of Junction 3 on the A50.

 WALK:  The walk will be around 4 miles of easy going flat walking following the River Trent and surrounding open countryside.  We did a similar walk from here in 2019 before the world shut down.

Looking forward to seeing a good turnout before the clocks go back!!
