Barton in Fabis, Nottingham 14th July 2022

This walk starts at the Dovecote Barn Bistro which is next door to the village farm shop in Barton in Fabis, south of Nottingham.

Gordon, Gerry and moi ate there and the food is good with a refreshing supply of alcoholic and soft drinks. A bit different from our usual venues but lacking nothing. Timings are as usual: meeting from 10 am for a 10:30 am start.The walk itself is just over 3 miles on flat terrain.

The A453 is easily accessed from the M1 or Nottingham. Turn left off the A453 if you’re coming from the motorway and right if you’re coming from Nottingham. Barton in Fabis and the Farm are difficult to miss.
